Artist Quill tweeted these helpful tips for drawing darker skinned characters, to add their own thoughts to the whitewashing discourse. The artist wanted to please note that this isn’t an attack on artists, just offering some corrections, insight and hope for a more healthy discussion.

It’d probably be a better argument if her example didn’t literally show her own skin being lighting and paler in different lighting.
