WOW! Who knew the crochet community had so many juicy controversies!?! And who knew that yarn fandom even existed!?! Oh and dont forget the arguments over stroller/carseat blankets that have the safety straps threaded through them. Lots of talk about what carseat manufacturers say (no coats or blankets under the straps because it makes the straps less snug and the fabric can compress in an accident allowing the child to be ejected) versus the baby getting sick from cold is a bigger threat and the carseat manufacturers have to say that for liability and I did it with my kids and they didn’t die.
