Wanda Maximoff’s new Scarlet Witch costume was revealed yesterday in the WandaVision finale. And I must just say this: IT. IS. EPIC. I cannot wait to see cosplays of this new look. It’s a nice nod to Scarlet Witch’s classic Marvel Comics look without being over the top sexualized or too bright red. I think they did a great job of modernizing it and still keeping it sleek and badass. And while it’s not “sexualized” like I mentioned, she certainly looks sexy and confident.
The iconic red crown headpiece is perfect and her tousled hair is great too. But my favorite part is how they gave her both pants and a skirt (kinda, like a cape skirt? Not sure what that is called). I love the look of a flowing skirt and it gives that “witch” vibe, but to be fair pants are much more practical (let’s just hope they gave her pockets, lol!)
