AlyCat Cosplay looks wonderful cosplaying as her Rosie the Riveter / Ghostbuster mashup! if you don’t know, Rosie the Riveter was a cultural icon of World War II, representing the women who worked in factories and shipyards during the war. She’s the woman from those iconic “We Can Do It!” posters. Since then Rosie the Riveter has been a symbol for women in the workforce and for women’s independence. Anyway, here’s what the cosplayer had to say:
“What would Rosie the Riveter be like as a Ghostbuster? She’d probably kick a lot of ghost butt! Lots of inspiration for this shoot came from pin up style paintings and photos. I love the 1940’s era and I also really love Ghostbusters so why not combine the two?”
