DJ is a freelance illustrator, based in Wellington, New Zealand. He lives with his wife and cats, spending his time illustrating and playing Dungeons and Dragons. He has always had a passion for drawing quirky characters, spending his childhood with a pencil and paper. DJ’s distinct style comes from his experience in character design, coupled with his lack of enthusiasm for learning more than two photoshop tools.

Iron Man is misclassed. He is obviously an *Armorer* Artificer, not an Artillerist – the Armorer’s entire schtick is tinkering with their suit of armor, and constantly upgrading it.
Aside from that, I’m not really finding any significant faults in the assignments here… Very, very nice overall. 🙂
Unearthed Arcana – Subclasses 3, when Armorer Artificer was first introduced, dropped in Feb 2020, three months after this artwork was created, so yes, you’re right, but at the time this was the correct choice.
Source: made a Warforged Artificer a few months before the UA was released and it really bugged me that here was the obviously thematically better choice, so it’s burned into my mind.
Tbf, Ant-man should probably be a swarmkeeper ranger. Agreeing that Iron man could be any race and should be an armorer instead of artillerist. Vision is missing and should be on the list as a warforged, though. Maybe Aberrant Mind sorcerer.
