writing-in-the-grave came up with this amazing fantasy story idea about a tiny, wimpy, very pathetic dragon named Altheria. She has blunt horns, teeth, and claws. She’s even smaller than a cat and she only has one gold coin in her hoard. So anyway, she gets this crazy idea to go on a quest to rescue a princess (there’s fan art by artfromthevoid below too!):

Love this!!!!
I want to read all of this!! And I love the fan art too, that just screams “movie scene”. X
Ehh isn’t this a full on animated series yet? I would read and/or watch the drap out of that!
This needs to be a graphic novel at the very least.
I love this idea!
Art reminds me of “Pixie and Brutis””
Oh my God, this is FANTASTIC! I would ABSOLUTELY read something like this— even better if somebody used artfromthevoid’s fan art and animated the whole thing, series or movie.
Seriously yes!
I would pay to read this as a comic. Brilliant concept. ❤️
So… OP, will you notify us when this is available in WHATEVER format?
I need to read this!! Please get it done! Organise a Kickstarter or whatever it takes, this is incredible!! 😍🤘
Cool until the part about killing people who were going to risk their lives for her and then selling their corpses. I find that much worse than an arranged marriage. Thumbs down to the genocidal princess.
When they knew, she ran away and decided to fight her it stopped being rescue and started being kidnapping.
They only had two options, remember? Join or die. There was not an option of “just leave me alone”. That’s apparently badass.
Graphic novel, Netflix series.. give ups something!!
Absolutely priceless. And I can see the look on the (formerly) puny dragon realizes just what she has become ..
Animated movie or graphic novel….I need this and so do my daughter’s
If you are inspired, maybe you can add something about how she gets her original coin back (which she recognizes because of how much she loved and cherished it). Perhaps the princess has a beautiful necklace made for Altheria, with the coin surrounded by the most beautiful jewels, to honor and thank her all her help. Altheria’s quest started because of that coin, I would love to read that it was there with her in the end.
I can’t wait to read more. Your story is just wonderful! Thank you for sharing it!
