This is a very valid question. How are so many famous, well-respected actors in the Spy Kids movies? I mean Antonio Banderas, Tony Shalhoub, George Clooney, Steve Buscemi, Salma Hayek, Elijah Wood, and even Sylvester Stallone x 4, lol. (Scroll down for the actual answer to this conundrum.)

Very true. Vin Diesel said in an interview that a big part of why he did The Pacifier was that his kids were too young to see the rest of his films and he wanted to do a film they could see whilst they were still kids.
It was a bit of fun. Let people have fun before they die damnit.
Honestly I have nothing but respect for kids media. It is so restricted compared to ‘adult’ media that when it really delivers, what it delivers isn’t gold, it’s straight up diamonds. Writers, actors, and artists who create media for children with the intention of making their lives better and providing life lessons in a child friendly package are the best kind of people. <3
