Yes, it’s true. There’s a pterodactyl in Marvel Comics named Dr. Karl Lykos aka Sauron. It’s canon. Well actually, technically he’s actually a pteranodon, which is an even larger winged dinosaur. His backstory is that as a human Dr. Lykos was a brilliant Argentinian hypnotherapist. He then became a human-pteranodon hybrid and conqueror of the Savage Land. As a child he was attacked by a mutated Pteranodon and somehow became an energy vampire. By absorbing the life energy of a mutant, he transformed into his savage alter-ego known as Sauron. Marvel comic books are awesome!
