A lot of people believe that since so many places are hiring right now that it should be easy for homeless people to just “get a job”. @RohanTheMajesty tweeted this story about explaining to her mom why a guy panhandling outside the hiring grocery store can’t get a job there. It’s not as simple as you might think:
