LOL! This Riddler vs Joker post about the iconic Batman villains is pretty amusing. So who would you rather be terrorized by, the Riddler or the Joker?
janothar apparently forgot the Riddler’s schemes in each Arkham game that made solving all his Challenges necessary to foil. In Arkham Asylum, he wasn’t on the island but said he planted bombs around Gotham City and solving all his challenges let Oracle track him down and have him arrested. In Arkham City, he took hostages he put in deathtraps and Batman had to save them. In Arkham Knight, he took Catwoman hostage and forced both she and Batman to complete this big elaborate puzzle rooms, as well as unleash a robot army on the city. Solving all that game’s challenges unlocked his final boss fight, in a giant mech suit.
The Riddler is like a thousand times more competent than the Joker. He actually finishes his plans, then waits for someone (Bats) to challenge him. He doesn’t operate on the same scale as the Joker is all. A handful of hostages vs needing a ton, if the Joker takes them at all. He’s proving that he’s the smartest man, not the most I-can-kill-everyone man.

Exactly. Riddler is no better than a Joker. Pity that people can’t see it JUST because he is less competent than joker.
