We posted about Sci-Hub, a website that is known as the Pirate Bay of science, before with an important warning: Do Not Use The Website Called Sci-Hub! LOL! I repeat, do not use the website called sci-hub. It lets people access scientific articles for free. (This is of course sarcasm.) We as a global society absolutely cannot afford to lose this second one.
Why is it saying don’t use sci-hub
They are being sarcastic, like: “Oh no, please DON’T use this awesome free resource!” *Wink wink*
What is even more annoying is that not only are the publishers making money from every download, but they charge scientists hundreds of $ to publish their paper on these sites and journals.
