  1. Used to love LoL and HotS and other MOBAS. Quit because too many players had the mentality this guy’s talking about.

    Had a Morgana build that was definitely not the current meta but it worked for my playstyle. Took so much shit for it. My answer was, “Have you ever seen someone solo mid with Morgana before?”

  2. Nailed it. Some of us have jobs, families, and *gasp* other hobbies and can’t dedicate the time required to “git gud” at an ever-changing meta. That’s not even fun, so why bother? This would be why I prefer single player games most of the time, and the rest of the time I play things like TF2.

  3. Too much focus is put on multiplayer. It ruins the single player experience. Plus, if everything is focused on multiplayer, and you have to work with other people online, then you’re kind of forced out of solo play. And I don’t fucking like that. I don’t like loot boxes, I don’t like assholes on servers, I really dislike the GTA online community because they are the most toxic in the fucking world. I would much much rather have a good, long, story driven single player game.
