Lucy Luxe Couture looks incredible cosplaying as her genderbent version of the God-King Xerxes from the 300 movie! She looks badass and fabulous and worthy of God-Queen status! Here’s what she said to Geek Girls about this photoshoot:
“I’d like to submit my Queen Xerxes photoset shot with Chris Bombardo Visuals. Fan Expo Canada is one of my favourite conventions because it’s a rare opportunity to work with photographers from all different locations. I met Chris there last year and I was so excited to work with him again. He did an amazing job managing the passers by, and transforming the convention walls into a more fitting background. Queen Xerxes was a hell-build (100 hours of labor in under a month) completed in May for a competition duo with Jessica Harkonnen as Queen Leonidas. It was my most emotionally-challenging costume, as collecting the materials in an economical fashion took nearly two years, and left me with only a few weeks to work. She consists of a velvet cape, metal chain and coins, Christmas garland, and Worbla and foam armor and props.”
And here’s a few black and white photos of her Queen Xerxes cosplay, the contrast is quite stunning:
