“Huh? Me, a disorder? Nah, that’s what we label people when they are struggling and need some extra support. But that’s not ME, because I KNOW I can do things just fine, I’m just not putting enough effort and not caring enough. Oh, I’m depressed now and it’s giving me less energy to put effort inti things, whoops. That’s still my fault, because I’m not trying hard enough to give myself energy.

It’s totally not because I have a legitimate condition that makes my brain not work in tandem with the environment around me. It’s not! I’m just a bad neurotypical person! Hahahaha, hah.

(totally not what I think now btw, but hoo boy was this the mood right before I found out that ADHD doesn’t just look like boys who can’t sit still.)”
