This post is about aliens trying to use our technology, such as computers. It’s not they aren’t intelligent enough to use our tech, but they would have issues with basic things like culturally-specific symbols and reading our language:

Another good example of this is try reading “The Peterkin Papers” by Lucretia P. Hale. This was written in 1880 and the technology of that time took me some deep thinking to figure out.
