This is an interesting post by yellowfang89 that explains asexual labels using cereal. If you didn’t know, asexuality is a sexual orientation characterized by a lack of sexual attraction or interest in engaging in sexual activities with others. Asexual individuals, often referred to as “aces,” may experience little to no sexual desire or may have a low interest in sexual behavior. It is important to note that asexuality is not the same as celibacy or abstinence, which are choices to refrain from sexual activity, whereas asexuality is an inherent sexual orientation.
Asexuality exists on a spectrum, and individuals may identify themselves in various ways within the asexual spectrum. Some asexual individuals may still experience romantic attraction and form deep emotional connections with others, while others may not experience romantic attraction either and identify as aromantic asexual.
It’s crucial to recognize and respect asexuality as a valid sexual orientation, just like any other orientation. Asexual individuals have diverse experiences and relationships, and it’s important to listen to and understand their perspectives and preferences without judgment or pressure.

Love this! For me cupiosexual is more like “You want to eat cereal. You grab the box of Corn Flakes even though it isn’t appealing, because you enjoy it for other reasons.”
Graysexual but hypersensual- you think cereal is very interestlng—to look at, to feel its texture between your fingers, to smell. Sometimes eating it is appealing, mostly as a way of savoring the taste and texture. Other times, you open up the cupboard, look at the cereal longingly, and remember that if you pour yourself a bowl, you may be expected to swallow and digest it—and sometimes, that just sounds like a bit much.
