Black Women I Wish I Learned About in History Class

Lesson time! Anna Bodney posted this wonderful collection of just a few of the amazing black women that we should be learning about in history. Here’s what she had to say:

“This world is nothing without the strength and intellectual power of Black women. So, here’s the beginning of a long list of Black women I wish I learned about in history class. Each of these women have a long list of accolades (I wish I could have included more about each of them!) but I suggest you look them up if you’re unfamiliar!”
