Bruce Wayne’s Greatest Enemy Is a PTA Mom

LOL! This is an amazing post about Bruce Wayne’s true nemesis, his greatest enemy, the fakest housewife in the Batkids PTA chapter, Sharon. The Grey Turtle really expanded on femme-aesthete‘s Batman fan fic idea here and it is amazing. Only Sharon can withstand the full might of the “Bat Glare”, haha:

  1. Damn it… Fine, I can’t handle it.

Sharon left the PTA, her nostrils flaring, her eyes filled with Rage, and she stomped into her house. A man looked out from an office, “Bad meeting dear?”

“DO YOU KNOW WHAT WAYNE DID HAROLD?!”

A long suffering sigh escaped the office before a man stepped out. For all rights and purposes he seemed perfectly normal. In truth, he would to almost anyone, but then again he’d long since learned how to act normal. Walking toward her Sharon sat down, causing the reinforced couch to creak and pop. He could see how angry she was. Honestly, he believed the small rivalry between herself and Bruce Wayne was a much needed one.

The mortal obviously knew how to keep her interest, and she needed that. Especially since they were given asylum to be here. The last thing he needed for her to do was decide that she was done pretending to be a suburban housewife and decide that the best course of action was to subjugate the entire globe. Having her focus on a single mortal that managed to keep her in check without doing much kept her interest.

But then, if the mortal was getting under her skin that was another thing.

    “Tell me what happened love.”

Her eye twitched a flood of colors crossed her. For a moment she was the same, but then she changed completely. Her muscles were more defined, her skin had a red pigment to it, and her eyes began silted and golden.

“He let that… commoner speak down to both of us!” she cried, “A commoner! Wayne at least has the heart of one of us!”

He changed as well, his skin a soft blue, his body almost appearing to be mist, and he laid a gentle hand on her.

“Love, What did this commoner say?”

She sniffed, “She said that those people in the asylum had more manners than we do,” she said through a sniff, “I’m mannerly, right?”

He grinned, “Of course you are,” he replied before kissing her cheek, “Love, know that her words are just words. Besides, our daughter is going to this school, she is accepted, adored, and beloved. I’ve seen how she hordes the attention. She is going to be a fine dragoness.”

She sniffed again, “I almost lost it,” she sniffed as she hugged him, “I nearly burned that little whelp for telling me off. Can you… please?”

He grinned, “Sure, Tell me her name and I’ll make sure she gets a few weeks worth of horrible weather.”

She smiled softly, “That’s why I love you.”
