Love this — but Pepper didn’t start out wealthy. She has to know how to cook some things.
Yes, but I’ve always gotten the impression from various supplemental material that MCU Pepper went from being a scrappy business student with a crap relationship with her mom who probably did the usual college student path of surviving on PB&J and takeout when she was eating alone, to being Tony’s PA and able to afford to eat out somewhere nice far more often or eating formal dinners that she has to babysit Tony at when Rhodey wasn’t around…with a short stint as “just” one of Stark Industries’ myriad of secretaries or junior accountants that made great but not amazing money. Till she apparently caught an accounting error that would have cost SI a worrisome amount of dough…that part of me wonders about being part of Obadiah Stane’s backroom dealings to terrorists.
So…Pepper is probably capable of making certain meals she can portion out and eat over several days before Morgan is born, but I see her becoming a parent and getting Tony to settle down as a big motivation to learn culinary skills
“Bucky, she’s a kid!”
(Bucky begins to use the puppets.”
“NO That’s not what I meant!”
“What then?”
“She’s much shorter than you! You need to teach her how to fight a larger opponent, not someone of approximately the same mass!”
