This cosplay photoshoot by Kifir also features KJ Fox cosplaying as Zak Young. They both do a great job bringing the beloved cartoon characters to life. And they even reenact some scenes from the movie which you can see below.
The 20th Century Fox cult classic FernGully: The Last Rainforest from 1992 was a beloved childhood movie for many of us. If you recall it was set in an Australian rainforest inhabited by fairies like Crysta. She accidentally shrinks a young logger named Zak to the size of a fairy. Together, they rally the fairies and the animals of the rainforest to protect their home from the loggers and an evil pollution entity, Hexxus. The film was blatantly environmental though made an effort to avoid preaching. Too bad climate change and rainforest deforestation are even worse problems now today!
