This is one of the best Earth is Space Australia posts (read another great one here: Humans Are Weird)! This one comes with fun sci-fi short stories about aliens being stranded in Space Australia and rescued by humans:

This actually reminds me of the movie “After Earth” starring Wil and Jaden Smith. They crash land on Earth, and Wil tells his son, “Everything out there is trying to kill you.”
Nah this is orders of magnitude better than After Earth. Love that the rest of the world thinks of us that way. I mean we dont have any apex predators, only things like, Gympie Gympie, Box Jellyfish, Inland Taipan, White Tail Spider, Cassowary…. Oh we really do live on a death planet dont we…… Oh well.
Debra was looking forward to returning to the family. Debra stared through the pinkish-yellow haze outside her pod window, seeing brighter stars barely moving. In the distance, she thought one of the stars was large enough size to have maybe been a planet instead of a star. The gowrn starship she rode on was the size of a large asteroid, but her pod was isolated from much of the rest of the ship. Three days in her pod would have made her family stir-crazy — and that was the shorter leg of the trip.
She turned her attention back to the digital book on her pad, when a sound hissed and whispered through the pod’s overhead speaker. “D’bras Mith,” hissed the speakers in the words of the gowrn. A computer melodiously translated the rest of the words. “Your presence is needed immediately. Please prepare to leave your pod.”
Debra looked up at the speaker in concern, and asked, “What’s wrong?” She glanced to her suit, set her pad down, and immediately began to prepare for the harsh vacuum of deep space.
The speaker intoned with a computer voice, “Prepare to leave your pod. A quellan requires first aid. Your presence is needed immediately.”
Debra paused, and said, “Oh, my!”
Her hosts, the gowrn, were creatures of ammonia fluorine, whose more rigid parts were of lithium sulfide. They were a race for whom -200 Celsius was lethally hot. The quellan, on the other hand, were a race whose blood was molten lead; to them, 200 Celsius was lethally cold. Both temperatures were lethal to humans — humans without suits, anyway.
Only one race in the galaxy had molten ice running through their veins. Only one people could be called upon to survive for any period of time in both gowrn and quellan environments.
Please don’t stop there, I need more!
Please, where’s the rest?
I can’t remember the title but there was a story (Late 40’s or early 50’s) where Venusians invade Earth (USA of course) only encounter weather extremes. They are forced to leave places like Colorado (where ice falls from the sky) and relocate to Tornado Alley, assuming that tornados can’t be real and that humans are trying to scare them

[Read in a robot voice] I have survived everything. Magnetic storms of my home planet that drove my battered circuits near-insane. Eons of darkness and near-perfect void between the arms of some Xin-forsaken spiral galaxy. Acid oceans of Beta Aldebarani. But then I saw Earth, when some species produce rust-inducing poison called pure oxygen, and other species would die without it. I pass.
