the Ghorman genocide and Mon Mothma’s speech were two years before Scariff/Yavin.
the rebellion spent those two years further spreading their message (the message of rebellion and fighting against the empire’s evils had actually been going out for 3-4 years already, Mon Mothma was just the figurehead that the different rebel movements could unify around to create a ‘republic government in exile’)
the ISB Data breach and the botched arrest of Luthen Rael was a year before. as was the loss of Partigaz.
i’m not sure what “darth vader takes PTO” is given that his time between 4bby and 0bby is pretty much full of him doing various things for palpatine. (unless it refers to the “vader immortal” VR game, which was a year before yavin. but those events took place over about a day)
