Food is a Human Right

It’s pretty damn sad that an actual US congressmen would go online and mock food and healthcare being a human right, but here we are. “Yes, eating is a human right you incredible loon.” It’s also incredibly sad that when the United Nations voted to declare food a human right, there was exactly one country that voted “no”. Can you guess which country? 😒

RIght up there with wishing US citizens understood what our 1st Amendment does and doesn’t protect, I really wish people would learn the difference between the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. (hint: the Constitution does NOT contain the phrase “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness”)

    1. No, but what it does say is that “The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”

  2. The amount of people who can’t tell the difference between an actual right and the labor of other people just tells me that they were right about the department of education. Y’all suck at this. Nobody has to bring you food. Nobody’s going to stop you from buying it. But you do have to buy it. You don’t get slaves to make it for you anymore. Folks are literally busting their asses to grow calories out of the ground and you should pay them for that. It’s the least you could do.
