This quote from the cult classic coming-of-age tv show Freaks and Geeks is a pretty great scene. Not only do they make a good point about Jack Kerouac’s book On the Road, it’s also a great girls supporting girls scene!

Side note – if you never watched the 1999 tv show Freaks and Geeks you should check it out! I think you can stream it on Hulu now. It’s about a geeky high school student and his pals growing up circa 1980. They’re stuck in school, where all the girls are a foot taller and bullies terrorize the gym class. Meanwhile, his older sister (the girl in this scene who agrees with Kim) is flirting with the dope-smoking bad boys, cutting classes and questioning the point school.
