Bonobos are not more closely related to humans than they are to chimps. Bonobos’ common ancestor with chimpanzees was 2 million years ago, compared to their common ancestor with humans which was 8 million years ago.
Spent a lot of time at the zoo and am now a docent at the Butterfly House and Aquarium. Can absolutely confirm the volume on tortoise sex.
