It can be tough to do things alone when you have anxiety, even something simple like going to a movie. It can be a real challenge to step outside of your comfort zone and face your fears, especially when you’re by yourself.
But, at the same time, doing things alone can also be incredibly empowering. It allows you to take control of your own life and build your confidence. And, once you start to push past your anxiety and do more things on your own, you’ll start to realize that it’s not as scary as you thought it would be.
So, if you’re struggling with anxiety, try starting small. Maybe go for a walk by yourself, or sit in a park and people-watch. Over time, you can gradually build up to doing bigger things alone, like going to a movie or a restaurant by yourself. Remember, it’s okay to take things slow and at your own pace. And, if you need to, it’s perfectly okay to reach out to a trusted friend or family member for support. The important thing is to keep pushing forward and not let your anxiety hold you back.
