SajaLyn looks hauntingly beautiful cosplaying as Emily from Tim Burton‘s Corpse Bride! Corpse Bride is a beloved 2005 stop-motion animated musical fantasy film. She did a wonderful job with the makeup and creating a skeleton look. The whole costume is very whimsical and shooting it in winter on a cloudy day adds to the dark fantasy feel.
Here’s what she had to say about her cosplay: “Corpse Bride was always my favorite Tim Burton movie. As I started cosplaying, I always wanted to cosplay Emily and after two years of cosplaying I finally did it. I’m so proud that I made it and I love this costume. Sure, it’s not screen accurate but I think it spreads Emily’s character very well and finally I am the corpse bride myself!”
Corpse Bride: “If I touch a burning candle, I can feel no pain. In the ice or in the sun, it’s all the same. Yet I feel my heart is aching. Though it doesn’t beat, it’s breaking. And the pain here that I feel, try and tell me it’s not real. I know that I dead, yet it seems that I still have some tears to shed.”
