Horrible Goose in Dungeons & Dragons

LOL! This is a great little post about putting the Horrible Goose in Dungeons & Dragons. If you don’t know, Untitled Goose Game is a video game in which the player assumes the role of a horrible goose and terrorizes the inhabitants of a sleepy English village. There is no motive other than causing mischief. It’s tagline is: “It’s a lovely morning in the village, and you are a horrible goose.”

  1. A DM would practically be required to include this in the Final Boss Battle: “You open the door to the Demon King’s Throne Room, and there, facing you in readiness, is the one you have searched out to face and conquer: a large white goose.
Then the goose flies away and the Demon King appears from behind a throne …” and the scene continues.

    1. The ideas good but need a little tweak. Leave the goose a bit longer, have the players enter the room and square up to the goose, then have the demon king enter from a concealed door which causes the goose to leave.

      Proper fake out.
