Today’s “humans are weird space orcs” post is about how human babies need to be touched. Being touched is critical for development. Small babies can literally die if you don’t cuddle them enough. Aliens find this baffling:

It’s all fun and games till Captain Kirk comes along and tries to crossbreed with them.
We wouldn’t have to wait for James Tiberius Kirk to show up. There are already enough weird Humans out there with fur and scale fetishes that it would likely happen at, or quite near, First Contact, what with one of our driving perogatives being “Can I f*ck it?” (along with “Can I eat it?”, “Do I have to kill it?”, and “Does it want to eat ME??”)
