Idea About Jesus Being a Super Weird Guy
There are a number of non-canonical “Infancy Gospels” covering Jesus’s youth – basically Biblical fan fiction. Imagine, if you like, someone with all the power of the Son of God but none of the emotional maturity. Someone who could kill someone on the spot for annoying them, but who could also bring them back to life – though only after a severe rebuke from Joseph.
Well as it seems that Christian teaching = Judaic philosophy + Buddhism. Why not take “weird” idea and use it as reason JC has to flee Palestine area and get job on “uncles” merchant ship – and then meets Buddhist monk who introduces JC to Buddhist idea and also control oh his mystic powers.
One legend has it that it was Jesus’ brother who was crucified. Jesus Himself, the legend has it, travelled to Japan, married, had children and lived to 106. It is quite likeky that He might have been exposed to Buddhism on the way.
