LOL! This is a wonderful story told by a teacher about their Macbeth play in school. The Lady Macbeth role was claimed by a young man. This is in keeping with true historical Shakespearian fashion I might add, since back them female parts were played by male actors. Anyway, the hilarity that ensued in this story is fabulous, boys will be boys:

It works perfectly well on stage to have Macbeth and Lady Macbeth *very much* into each other–at least at first. Later in the play Macbeth starts to distance himself from his wife, and this is even more heartbreaking to see if their closeness has been obvious earlier on.
