Leto – Original Design Character Costume

Les Légendes d’Azcor created this stunning original design costume for a character named Leto from her own fantasy universe. She created two separate masks and costumes for the character, a High Priestess look and a vanity look. They are both gorgeous and very unique. She posted more on her facebook page about the character Leto:

“I’ve working on Leto for more than one year now. It’s the hugest costume project I’ve ever made so far. This character is really important to me and is the result of lot of my anxiety and traumas. Many people asked me about this character. Is it from a video game? A movie? An improved cosplay from an existing character? No.

I’ve hear many things and some people even asked me if it was a cosplay from a mod they saw on a famous video game. But no, Leto is an original character from my own universe Les Legendes d’Azcor. To be clear, this mod was made without my consent. Of course you can see some of my inspirations. My favourite movie is The Cell, I love art nouveau and mostly art nouveau stained glass windows and kokoshnik have always fascinated me.

What are the masks made of? I use something called “papier cuir” (leather paper) a sturdy but soft kind of paper that allows me to make such tiny details. the colored parts are made out of colored plastic sheets used by photographers to change the color of the light.

About the story of Leto, I’ll write more about it when the project will be fully completed. But it will take me some times to complete ( lot of time ^^; ). All I can tell you right now is that Leto is not the nicest one in the world.”
