xenosaurus came up with this awesome story concept for a “medical mystery of the week” serial set in a world with monsters and superpowers and mutants and aliens. captainbragd loved the character ideas so much that they made some sketches:
A dark version of an old Muppet Show moment: “And now Veterinarian’s Hospital…the ongoing story of a *quack* who’s going to the dogs…” but in this case it’s going to everything. I can see a lot of Muppets and similar things appearing on this show.
Transposing post seen elsewhere: One of the doctors is an entity which feeds off of feelings of suffering but has discovered that taking away the suffering makes people bring you more, without the usual struggles.
Caddy is actually Dr. Cassandra Daver, the head Pathologist, but she’s just so carefree, chaotic, and hates being a “stuffy doctor” so much that everyone just believes she’s an intern or some weirdo that likes hanging around the morgue for funsies.
They forgot Dr. Acula, who will only work the nightshift. He takes care of the blood bank.
He’s on probation for drinking on the job, but he’s working his program…he just got his 100 year chip!
Or a specialist in disorders of the blood lick sickle-cell?
Oh, you mean Dr. Dennis Reginald Acula, the Hematologist in charge of Blood Donations? 😉
A supernatural version of the Sector General novels. I love it.
Half of this just veterinary medicine…including some of the doctors
Such a doctor might be more like a veterinarian.
