This incredible Megara and the Muses from Disney‘s Hercules group cosplay was shot by photographer York In A Box. It features the stunning @anarkee as Megara with @michelle_maka, @universallygeeky, @j_to_the_lae and @angelicasnarrative as the Muses.
Megara (aka Meg) is the snarky “femme fetale” from Disney’s 1997 animated movie, Hercules. The Muses in Hercules are five lovely goddesses whose domain lies in the arts, and they sing of the tales of ancient Greece in a gospel choir style. Calliope is the muse of epic poetry. She leads the muses and is the tallest of the five with high hair. Clio is the muse of history. She has a small ponytail and carries a scroll. Thalia is the muse of comedy. She is the shortest of the five, full-figured, plays the trumpet, and is often causing mischief. Terpsichore is the muse of dance. She is the second-shortest of the five, with Bantu knots in the front and loose curls in the back. Melpomene is the muse of tragedy. She has long, curly hair to her waist and carries a mask with a frowning face.
“We are the Muses! Goddesses of the arts and proclaimers of heroes!” -Calliope
