Miss Argentina Cosplay from Beetlejuice

TW: Suicide. Persephone looks wonderful cosplaying as Miss Argentina (aka The Receptionist, and Miss Receptionist), who is the receptionist in the Neitherworld waiting room from the Beetlejuice (1988) movie. So she is one of the first people you meet when you die. Beetlejuice is a very strange movie (it’s by Tim Burton so of course) that explores life after death and dealing with becoming a ghost.

We love to see people doing more obscure cosplays that you don’t see all the time, so this one is an awesome deep cut to a beloved classic movie. She did a great job and Cherry Dame especially nailed the body paint / makeup. Also Dynamite Dames Photography shot these pretty pinup photos. Here’s a few words from the cosplayer: “It was so much fun to be painted all green! I really scared people on my drive home through Atlanta traffic.”

(Her statement likely refers to not knowing until it was too late that Neitherworld law stipulates that those who die by suicide are assigned to work as bureaucrats.)
