No Such Thing as a Fake Geek Girl

Ooooooh shots fired! This is a silly post poking fun at all those dudes who claim women are “fake geek girls“. The assumption is that these women are only pretending to like geeky things (which let’s face it are just mainstream things at this point) to get male attention (hahaha!). Anyway, there is no such this as a fake geek girls. There are only fake geek boys. Here’s why:

  1. All you had to do was point out the FEMALE fans saved Star Trek, and so did Luci Arnez to begin with, the women’s fan campaign got them what they wanted, they kept the interest alive in trek through fan fic sharing that is still on going. once loving star trek made people geeky. There were female geeks, LONG before MCU movies, or LOTR’s, even before X-Files, which had its own geek audience (Large numbers female). besides what do these FAKE geek guys, who accuse ALL women of being fake geeks think Harry Potter fans are 100% male? to accuse ALL girls of being FAKE geeks who ONLY fake interest to attract geek guys, is PROOF you ARE a fake geek yourself, only a real geek girl would find a hardcore geek guy attractive (apologies to Henry Cavill fans)
