This is so common that some people have a name for it. Boy Math. A guy wanting to open their marriage so you can screw around when she gets all the attention and he gets none, he gets butthurt. He severely overestimated his market value.

Lol this is literally how I got my divorce. Suddenly I felt attractive again and had the confidence to tell my a-hole of a husband to beat it. I am now with a much younger and more considerate man who appreciates me for who I am.
