Pac-Man is the Sequel to Pong – Fan Theory
When Pac-Man was released home consoles and computers the backstory was also released but didn’t really gain any traction so few people other those who bothered to read the packaging. PAC-Man himself is an astronaut trapped on a damaged space station being pursued by the ghosts of his dead colleagues. The dots he eats are the pills he’s cramming down to keep him from losing his mind.
