When Paul Rudd signed on to play Marvel superhero Ant-Man his son had a funny reaction. You’d think a young boy would be so excited for his dad to play a superhero, but not so much in this case, lol. He told ET: “When I told my own son that I was going to be in a superhero movie, he asked what it was. I said, ‘well I’ll be playing Ant-Man’. He was not that impressed.” In fact, Rudd added, “What he actually said was ‘wow I can’t wait to see how stupid that’ll be.'”

Who doesn’t love Paul Rudd though!? His reaction to using Captain America’s shield is also amazing and basically what any nerd would do, lol.

Below is the interview with ET I found where he actually said this quote. Not sure if he told the story again on Letterman or if someone just edited it that way. But he does say that his son said he ‘can’t wait to see how stupid Ant-Man would be’:
