u/neverplatonic posted this ridiculous text exchange between his cousin who he is giving his old PS4. Not only is he giving his cousin’s son a PlayStation 4 Pro + a bunch of games, but his cousin also wants him to get $160 CAD + tax worth of games. Talk about entitled. This was perfect for posting at r/ChoosingBeggars, the subreddit is for posting stories of people who are being way too picky when begging for things.

And here is the update:
“Hi. Just a little update. First, thank you for the responses! I didn’t expect this to resonate with a lot of people. Also, thanks to those who told me to wipe the console before giving it away. I already did that, so it should be ready to go. 🙂 Next, the kid knows that I’m giving it to him and that it is for him. A lot of you said that the dad probably wants the games for himself, and I quite agree. When I spoke to my cousin’s kid on Easter, he was over the moon when I told him that I was giving him the console+games. He said that he was excited to play both Spider-Man games. He never mentioned GoWR and HFW. I know some of you wanted me to just keep or sell the console, but I’d like to keep my word, even though my cousin made this whole situation icky. Finally, some of you were wondering why I mentioned EB Games when Gamestop bought them ages ago. Well, a lot of EB Games stores in Canada didn’t rebrand to Gamestop until 2021, so it’s just habit I guess.”
