LOL! This fan had the funny idea that people are more afraid of Spider-Man since Ant-Man came around because they think he can summon spiders. Turns out it’s canon that Peter Parker aka Spider-Man actually has pretended that he can summon spiders! It happens in Marvel Adventures Spider-Man #57, as you can see below:

The thing I always point out when people claim stuff like it would be easy for Gotham citizens to figure out Batman’s secret identity, is that what everyone forgets is that in those worlds people don’t necessarily have any idea how superheroes’ powers work at all. There’s a lot less information for them to figure out that kind of thing than people assume.
