The Bare Minimum – Dystopian Future Comic

Matt Bors drew this “The Bare Minimum” web comic for The Nib about a horrific dystopian future. Obviously it parallels the current debate in the United States about raising minimum wage to a living wage. For whatever reason many people oppose this and side with the comically evil Monopoly man who exploits his workers (*grumbles something about communism*).

About the artist: Matt Bors is a cartoonist and editor based in Portland, OR. He was a 2012 Pulitzer Prize Finalist for his political cartoons and in 2013 founded The Nib. The Nib is a site for political satire, journalism and non-fiction comics on what is going down in the world.
