Just a heads up from worldofxtra about some hidden issues in Japan. This is for the weebs out there who may think Japan is just a paradise of soft kawaii anime boys and girls. Every country has it’s issues and these are some that he has perceived though personal experience while living in Japan. Like he said, take it with a grain of salt, of course there are wonderful things about the country and culture too. Here is the full thread:

Meanwhile most of us get our information about Japanese culture from some pig the more mainstream slice-of-life anime/manga, which by the sounds of it is a much more liberated/idealized take on Japanese culture than the reality.
