Used to love LoL and HotS and other MOBAS. Quit because too many players had the mentality this guy’s talking about.
Had a Morgana build that was definitely not the current meta but it worked for my playstyle. Took so much shit for it. My answer was, “Have you ever seen someone solo mid with Morgana before?”
Nailed it. Some of us have jobs, families, and *gasp* other hobbies and can’t dedicate the time required to “git gud” at an ever-changing meta. That’s not even fun, so why bother? This would be why I prefer single player games most of the time, and the rest of the time I play things like TF2.
