LOL! “This wenche thikke and well ygrowen was.” This has to be the best line in The Canterbury Tales book by Geoffrey Chaucer, hands down. Possibly the best line in any Middle English book every written, lol. No wonder this is considered to be Chaucer’s magnum opus:
