@boguspress tells the story of a mom who wouldn’t let her son get a butterfly from a facepainter, and shows how even women enforce toxic masculinity on young boys. Like we said on the Stop Shaming Little Boys for Liking Girl Characters post, we’ve all seen stuff like this. The dad who won’t let his son play with dolls or play dress-up. The mom who won’t let her son wear flower crowns or get his face painted. The parents who won’t let their son enjoy female role models because they’re “for girls.” We all need to stop doing this to little boys. Here is the story:
