Anyway, fans of the video game series are probably familiar with how hard it can be to catch once of the illusive shiny Pocket Monsters. For those who don’t know, a shiny Pokémon is a specific Pokémon with different coloration to what is usual for its species and they are very rare. The modern mobile game Pokémon GO has made it a lot easier to catch them. But back in the day it was a lot harder unless you were very lucky!

In this comic Gamergirl tries to get a shiny Pokémon, starting on her Nintendo Game Boy Color. As you can see, time passes and Gamergirl keeps trying and trying to get one. And trying. And trying… and trying. If there’s one thing gamers don’t lack it’s persistence, lol.
