French illustrator and comic book artist Yohann Antoine wrote and illustrated this wonderful comic showing a fan fic version of Ursula from The Little Mermaid‘s backstory! He also creates Elio the little merman comics which you can support on his Patreon! Here’s a little bit more about the artist:

Pity the actual backstory paints Tritan as the ass.
Okay…. But what about the fact Ursula has a sister… how does she play into this.?
Could do without fatness being portrayed as monstrous.
She wasn’t fat at the first transformation picture. I understand where you’re coming from but it could have to do more with how she would have had to change her diet while in exile. She’s shown to live in a very deep part of the ocean in the movie, and the deeper you go, the colder it gets. It could be simply fat for survival. Also most who are depicted as on the chunkier side in shows, is a visual tool to indicate the character is some sort of glutton, in this case, a glutton for power. Also the Ursula character was based on the looks of the drag queen Divine, also known as Harris Glen Milstead.
