The Clackamas United Church of Christ in Milwaukie, Oregon post these signs with wonderfully wholesome and inclusive messages that aren’t what you’d normally expect from a Christian church, which you can see below. It’s actually sad that more churches don’t take such an approach. If they did they would have more community involvement and reach many more people with an actual good message.
Pastor Adam Ericksen wants to challenge what you think you know about religion. He said, “People are really thirsty for this kind of spirituality. We’ve had people come here who have been harmed by religion in the past and they haven’t given up and are stilling wanting community to share life and a spiritual journey with. They often find that here.”
More info about the church: Clackamas UCC is a Just Peace congregation. We are open and affirming of our LGBTQ siblings and believe God calls us to love all of our neighbors, including those who are black, brown, white, rich, poor, religious, atheist, documented, and undocumented. We embrace progressive involvement in issues that uphold the rights, dignity, and equality of all people under God. And we think Jesus is awesome.

Some of these bit hard to swallow coming from a tax exempt and politically motivated group. No one is against immigration, they against ILLEGAL immigration learn the difference. And before you get all upity my family has several members who came legally and became US citizens over the years.
“No one is against immigration” – you haven’t checked the comments section of Fox News when there’s an article about legal asylum seekers.
