So this “Humans are Adorable” post is like the opposite of all those “humans are space orcs” posts! It also goes hand in hand with the Humans are Nice Space Friends (Not Space Orcs) post. So what if humans are actually the adorable, lovable babies of the galaxy!? Here’s a list of 12 pieces of supporting evidence to prove that us little humans are just seriously freakin’ adorable:
These “humans are…” posts make me think, that once we make first contact, we’re going to end up being the space interns of the galaxy: eager to do something new to us, surrounded by individuals who have been up there for generations. How much do we make? No, we do it for free, or even pay our way. Space tourism? We’d be the person on the plane smiling at the flight attendants, stating that its amazing that just a few generations ago our ancestors would think we were flying through the skies like some kind of God; nervous at every bit of turbulence, clapping when we land uneventfully. But even as some of our hosts roll their many eyes, others would find a new appreciation for what they took for granted, as we look with amazement at our first super nova or black hole.
